Years & Years have shared their new, electrifying intergalactic-disco track “Meteorite.” Taken from the upcoming Bridget Jones’s Baby soundtrack, the band started hitting up the UK radio circuit to promote the new single today. It’s a fun little disco number, not departing too far from the Years & Years’ sound. Frontman Olly Alexander spoke of the inspiration for the track in a press release:
“We wanted to make something unashamedly disco and upbeat…. If there’s anyone I’d like to be it’s Bridget – a wanton sex goddess with a very bad man between her thighs.”
After touring tracks from their debut album Communion for the past 2.5 years, we’re crossing our fingers a new album is on the way.
