Australian fashion consultant and street style star Yasmin Sewell has just joined online retail giant Farfetch as its new Vice President of Style and Creative.

Sewell was previously fashion director of the now defunct Style.com, which was eliminated this past June when Condé Nast and Farfetch entered into a global content and commerce partnership. Sewell’s new role at Farfetch will see her not only leading the editorial and creative teams but also shaping the styling direction of the entire site.

In a statement, Sewell said of her new position:

“This role is an exciting evolution for me, finding and fostering new design talent has been a particularly fulfilling part of my career to date, and I’m excited to extend this to the realm of directors, photographers and creatives of all types. I am thrilled to be joining the team at this time as we define what content and commerce means for the Farfetch customer globally.”

We’re looking forward to seeing how Farfetch develops with Sewell’s elegant and sophisticated touch. Stay tuned!
