Aime Leon Dore continues its SOUND series with the latest edition of Live at 214, the brand’s ongoing program celebrating the musicians who have inspired its creative world through intimate live performances filmed inside its New York sound room.
The latest installment features legendary rapper, musician, producer, and Fugees cofounder Wyclef Jean. Celebrating 30 years of The Carnival, Wyclef revisits timeless classics from the landmark album during an intimate performance filmed at 214 Mulberry.

Released in 1997, The Carnival remains one of Wyclef’s defining works, blending hip hop with reggae, soul, Haitian folk traditions, and global influences into a sound that was distinctly his own. Alongside his work with the Fugees, the album cemented Wyclef as one of the era’s most versatile artists, equally comfortable behind the mic, behind the boards, and alongside some of music’s biggest names.
Like previous Live at 214 sessions, the performance keeps the focus where it belongs. Filmed inside Aime Leon Dore’s New York flagship, the stripped-back setting lets the music take center stage, making for another strong addition to the growing SOUND archive.
