Super-elite Japanese streetwear label WTAPS has partnered with French fitness footwear brand HOKA on a reimagining of two of the latter brand’s best-selling silhouettes, the Anacapa GTX Low and the Ora Luxe Slide. Both the sneakers and the slides feature the signature WTAPS military-inspired aesthetic and come in two colours: “Black” and “Olive Drab.”
The Anacapa GTX Low Day hike sneakers keep their normal design features like breathable mesh, suede fabrication, weather-resistant GORE-TEX coating, and Vibram’s Megagrip soles. The Ora Luxe Slide features WTAPS’ signature cross-bones logo across the strap and is a cool lowkey (ish) indicator of the collaboration. Also, talk to any true comfort aficionado; the Hoka slides are one of the most comfortable slides you can get, so this collabo just took cool-guy comfort vibes to a whole new level.
