After a quick mid-week trip back to New York, missing Wednesday nights shows, I rushed back to Toronto just in time to catch most of Thursday night.
I wore my vintage silk snakeskin print dress from Jack Lux that I had altered slightly earlier in the year, paired perfectly with my Soia & Kyo Sadie vest in rust from the Spring Summer 2015 collection. I wanted to throw in a bit of flash, so I popped on these crackle gold clogs from Free People, a vintage Alfred Sung necklace, a pair of Karen Walker shades, and the ever playful Tiger Punk Editors Clutch from ela handbags. I threw on this super warm Free People Cocoon Coat for an added layer of warmth to get to and from the shows, which I can’t wait to layer up again when it gets cooler out.
On the final day, not even a little bit unpacked, I decided to forgo the skirts and dresses for something a little but simpler (and fresh out of a shopping bag). Starting with a pair of grey jeans from Gap, a crisp white tuxedo shirt from J+, Jill Sander’s last collaborative collection for Uniqlo, and one fabulous J.Crew collection coat made of glorious teal wool from Scottish Harris Tweed.
Adding a bit of razzle dazzle I popped on my Miista debora heels, a pair of reflective MOSCOT shades (if only to hide the bags under my eyes), a couple layered gold necklaces, and another simple clay coloured ela editors bag.
