What I Wore: Toronto Fashion Week Spring 2014

Toronto Fashion Week Spring 2014

Last week was definitely one of the most packed fashion weeks I’ve experienced yet. At the tents everyday except Friday, and at the after party nearly every night, I had to really mix it up to stay fresh and warm throughout the week.

I didn’t get a chance to shoot every outfit I wore, but the second day was all about heritage, warmth, and coverage. I wore my vintage fashion jeans found in Williamsburg, a Pendleton tapestry button down, and accessorized with this beautiful Biko Attica Ivory Necklace. I bundled up with my Tuck Shop Trading Co.’s cozy Cottage Coat with leather detailing, topped the look off with my grandmother’s Beaver fur hat, a pair of vintage braided leather pumps, and with my Goyard St Louis, off I dashed to the tents!

Day three’s look was a bit chiller but I still bundled up enough to combat the crazy rain storm we had just as I entered the tents. I decided to wear my Alpha 60 deep plum shift dress I found on a recent trip to Melbourne which paired it perfectly with this stunning Smythe leopard lab coat which is actually water resistant! I topped my look off with a little edginess with a limited edition The Weeknd snap back, my Deadly Ponies Mr Cub Fur bag, grey Joe Fresh tights, and my favourite 3.1 Phillip Lim Maggy Low boots.

Take a look at some candid shots of me below pre-show during fashion week.
