What I Wore: Summer Pastels

Summer Pastel What I Wore

This summer has been less than hot so far in Toronto and I don’t mind it one bit, because I absolutely love to layer up with a leather jacket on chillier days. In today’s style feature I’ve taken a few different prints, textures, and tones to create the perfect summer high low mix. Starting with this super affordable and versatile dress from Joe Fresh as a base, I layered the dress simply with this silk lined leather jacket from Coach.

Let’s get one thing straight before I carry on, I absolutely adore this jacket, so you’ll probably see it appear throughout my style features again and again this summer. It’s a delicate apricot colour that’s oh-so feminine yet levels out for an edgy twist with the motorcycle zipper detailing. I’ve been loving the new direction Coach is going with their brand these days and am so excited to continue integrating pieces from the forthcoming collections into my wardrobe.

I rounded out the look with a pair of classic Ray-Bans, a star studded clutch from Toronto designer ela handbags, and threw on a white leather pair of sandals from Joe Fresh. Voila! Chic, breezy, yet oh so easy!

Take a closer gander at my look shot on the expansive University of Toronto grounds.
