Before the big dumping of snow arrived in Toronto this month, I pretended we were in the English countryside on one of the most baumy rainy days. It seems a rarity there are any crevasse in this city not covered in snow at this point, but we managed to find some and with the rain just spitting, the conditions were perfect to rock my new Hunter rain jacket.
Underneath I layered up, like a good Canadian girl does, with one of their knitwear pieces in the same shade as the rubber accenting on the shoulders of the jacket which is made from stiff waxed cotton, almost warm enough for warmer winter days like this (but not quite).
I’m wearing leather leggings from Minimum, one of my favourite Danish brands, with a pair of blue velvet Dr Martens and my Mackage backpack to complete the look.
Flip through some detail shots of my look below and dream of that eventual spring thaw.
