Not to brag, but it was super awesome to shed down all the winter layers while we were away in Australia last week, especially since we came back to a snow and frigid conditions in Toronto. While heading to brunch one day (we ate it everyday, because, why not!?) we stumbled upon this rad graffiti alley, and decided to snap a few shots of my outfit, which coincidentally featured a few local designers.
Starting from the top, my jewellery stack is all about Melbourne trendiness. Fimo is huge there amount small up and coming crafters and artisans, so I couldn’t resist stacking two I found strolling around Northcote one day with my dear friend who’s a textile designer, with an vintage silver chain.
The interesting angled shirt i’m wearing is by a local printmaker and designer Brkich. When I saw this shirt I immediately fell in love with the print and actually ended up buying a pair of shorts as well from yet another Northcote local shop. I didn’t want to go for the whole print on print thing that day, so I decided to throw on a pair of linen shorts from Uniqlo as well as my trusty and ultra comfortable Emma Go espadrille wedges.
I’ve accessorized lightly with my favourite summer lip pencil from NARS in “Yu”, my Super Lucia sunglasses, my beloved butter yellow Deadly Ponies Mr. Cub Fur bag, and my summer banded Daniel Wellington watch.
Take a look through some candid shots of my look inspired by Melbourne and warmer weather below.
