What I Wore: H&M Conscious Collection Spring 2014

What I Wore H&M Conscious Collection Spring 2014

Today’s what I wore is all about sustainability! I’m a big fan of wearing vintage generally, but with the launch of H&M’s Spring Conscious Collection release fast approaching I thought I’d mix one of their exclusive pieces with a couple vintage items.

With glamorous supermodel Amber Valletta fronting the spring campaign I was inspired by her timeless elegance and commitment to ethical fashion when mixing this conscious piece into my look. Here I’m sporting this glam shimmery silk dress which is not only a super rad tribal print, but also spun with gold and silver tinsel creating a subtle pin stripe effect to the fabric of the dress. I paired it with my favourite fuzzy coat which is also from H&M (not the conscious collection) a pair of vintage braided white leather pumps and a vintage leather clutch. Because this dress is quite a bold pattern I went for a couple toned down accessories like this vintage Alfred Sung gold necklace, a pair of gold clip on earrings to match, and my usual Daniel Wellington watch, which I tend to wear on the regular.

The limited edition H&M Conscious Collection is available in select H&M stores and online starting April 10th. Take a closer peek at my look below.
