You’ll be happy to hear I am no longer resisting wearing tights, especially with cropped quilted jackets being such a staple in my wardrobe at the moment. I wanted to share my first look as an Obey ambassador for the fall season since I met Shepard Fairey a couple of weeks back in Toronto and my inspiration for this look comes mostly from that meeting.
He was in town doing a couple murals to promote his Hennessy bottle design and I had the opportunity to take part in a lunch which he spent most of the time talking through, not lunching. When the meal was over, I snagged a quick photo with him and he complimented my Wild Moon necklace, which I’m wearing in this look.
I was also wearing my Alpha 60 plum dress I bought while I was over in Australia earlier this year, so the I thought for my first look as an ambassador I would wear shirt by the same brand in the same delicious plum shade. I paired it with this moody printed cotton skirt, a reversible quilted floral jacket, and a quilted jean bag, all from Obey. I accessorized the look with a super light pair of plum tights, my Converse wedges, and a pair of SUPER sunglasses.
