What I Wore: adidas StellaSport

After ten years the prestigious adidas by Stella McCartney collection is taking athleisure to another level with StellaSport. Continuing to pioneer designer workout gear, the partnership is reborn younger, trendier, and more daring than ever, perfect for high intensity training followed by post-workout juice bar hangs.

From a young age I obsessed over fashion and fitness and back when Stella McCartney released her first collection with the German sportswear brand, I started looking at getting dressed for the gym in a whole other way. Fast forward to today and sportswear is a staple in my wardrobe.

The first drop of the collection, available in Canada at Sport Chek, consists of bold wearable pieces including neon leggings, graphic hoodies, strappey sports bras, onesies, bags, and patterned pull overs. The entire collection features climate regulating technology and is great for layering in the colder months without skimping on fashionable prints and vibrant colours.

Not only does this collaboration continue to refine our wardrobe but it also encourages our generation to lead healthier more active lives (especially when our iPhones are now recording each step we take and each stair we climb).

I had the chance to test out the StellaSport collection in the studio and on a winter run up the Casa Loma stairs. Take a look through some photos of the collection in action below and stay tuned for the second drop coming later this spring.
