The Grove Music Festival in Toronto offered an eclectic bill all in one day, with bands ranging from indie kings Phoenix, to rap prodigy Earl Sweatshirt, and mash-up master Girl Talk. Head here to check out all my coverage of the day!
I used the festival’s carefully curated musical mix to inspire my look for the day, comprised of a study in the contrast between hard and soft. I paired an incredibly soft, flowy kimono from Free People with sturdy comfy ankle boots, also from Free People, and belted the kimono with a heavy-metal vintage belt. With my trusty vintage bag in tow and a boho wide-brimmed felt hat on my head, I was ready for a day of lounging, dancing, and beer sipping.
Here are the details of my outfit:
Long fringed kimono – c/o Free People
Hat – RVCA
Purse – vintage Coach
Sunglasses – Kensington market stall
Belt – Vintage
Ankle Boots – c/o Free people
