Day one was a scorchers, so shout out to the clouds on day two because without them we wouldn’t have had the energy to go on.
We kicked off our Saturday with The Beaches and Alvvays, a nice little one two punch of Toronto artists. Top Dog Entertainment’s SZA helped us ease into the afternoon, while Rural Alberta Advantage had the Bright Stage jumping despite the weekend’s first rain fall. Run the Jewels rocked the main stage while Danny Brown was up to his usual antics across the grounds and Modest Mouse had us getting déjà vu for our college days. But no matter the amount of talented acts that played before, king Kendrick ruled the day with the weekends biggest set.
Check out our snaps below and stay tuned for our final day of coverage tomorrow.
