Warner Bros. has finally unleashed the trailer for Blade Runner 2049, the highly anticipated sequel to the 1982 classic Blade Runner.
Appeasing die-hard fans of the original, the forthcoming release will be executive produced by the Blade Runner director, Ridley Scott, and also includes the return of the prequel’s lead actor, Harrison Ford. However, the narrative of this film is set thirty years following the events of Blade Runner and will revolve around a new protagonist, played by Ryan Gosling. The trailer also includes appearances from some of the other big actors in the film, such as Jared Leto, Robin Wright, Dave Bautista and Ana de Armas. The work will be directed by Academy Award-nominated director Denis Villeneuve, best known for his work on Prisoners, Sicario and Arrival.
