Jamie xx has shared a new video for his track “Gosh.” Directed by Romain Gavras, perhaps most notoriously responsible for MIA’s controversial “Born Free” music video whose entire premise focused on the graphic executions of ginger people, the “Gosh” video is a walk in the park in comparison. Gavras is the master of visuals, and “Gosh” is so aesthetically satisfying with its boundless grasp of symmetrical shots, there isn’t a single second wasted as you follow an armada of children running toward a fake Eiffel Tower through a desolate industrial Chinese town (not weird, right? It’s awesome). This is honestly the best music video to drop in all of 2016 so far.
