Tuesday evening The Room at The Bay Queen Street hosted legendary design visionaries Viktor & Rolf, along with a well heeled crowd of adoring fans, to celebrate and preview their fall winter 2013 collection. In Toronto doing press for the forthcoming Luminato retrospective Dolls, which launches on June 8th at the ROM, the dutch duo entered the room ushered by The Room’s Vice President & Buyer Nicholas Mellamphy, following a live string quartet rendition of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody”.
The mood was indeed elegant and stylish, as all events hosted at The Room tend to be, and we, like many there, mingled and shyly ogled the ever fabulous designers while perusing the oh-so covetable fall winter collection, particularly the shoes.
