Well this is an interesting development, Swedish furniture maker IKEA presents their latest endeavor the KNAPPA, a digital camera. Sheathed in a cardboard outer shell, the digital camera is part of the IKEA PS design collection. Designed by Jesper Kouthoofd, the USB-accessed camera holds up to 40 photos, and uses two AAA batteries set into the flat-packed cardboard body. It’s a neat concept and is a good move from IKEA, especially if they want to compete in this digital age. The PS collection is available now, at IKEA stores worldwide.
