Italian luxury fashion house Valentino has gone the athleisure route for their Resort 2018 collection and a series of pop-up shops set to open on October 26.
Not only was the collection full of loose, sportswear inspired designs, but the label is also launching sports-themed pop-ups around the world. The pop-ups will be designed to look like gyms or training centers, adding another layer to the brand’s new sporty aesthetic. Valentino has also unveiled a brand new logo which features just the letters VLTN. Creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli was inspired by vintage Valentino labels from the 80s and 90s when designing the new logo. Limited edition items marked with the ‘VLTN’ logo will be available exclusively at the pop-ups.
There will be pop-up Valentino ‘gyms’ in New York, Milan, Hong Kong, and Tokyo as well as pop-up installations in Miami, London, Moscow, Seoul and Los Angeles. Check out some of the limited edition ‘VLTN’ merch below.
