Urban Outfitters, Hanes and Champion have teamed up to present a new “Class of 2017” campaign. It features 16 up-and-coming creative minds from various industries—artists, writers, musicians, art curators, and students—who have lent their own positive messages to the campaign, aimed at inspiring hope and optimism in other young people as we begin a new calendar year. The “Class” includes rapper and artist Tommy Genesis; curator and gallerist Elizabth Hopkins; photographer and bootleg artist Ava Nirui; and musician and skateboarder Javan; among others. For the campaign shoot, participants were asked to customize Hanes tees with personal slogans and messages, as well as record confessional-style videos. The collection includes two-packs of Hanes classic tees, as well as Champion essential pullover hoodies and sweats in essential colours. The collection is available now at urbanoutfitters.com and in select Urban Outfitters brick and mortar stores.
