Incase you’re not aware, TR/ST is the musical project of Toronto artist Robert Alfons. Surrounding success of his sophomore record Joyland, Alfons embarked on a world tour, his biggest yet. Now at its one year anniversary, TR/ST has released “Slug” in anticipation of his new EP due out this summer.
The new track sounds like a synth-heavy Depeche Mode song. It’s light and airy, infectiously danceable, offset by a deep, ominous vocal track.
