Last night at World MasterCard Fashion Week in Toronto we had the pleasure of attending Joe Fresh’s presentation for the Spring Summer 2013 season. After a brief video of mod imagery and iconography, legendary model Pat Cleveland opened the show, signature sass and pout in place, in a matching monochromatic yet casual argyle suit, to many hoots and hollers.
The monochromatic theme continued onto suits, dresses, and outwear in prints, with an emphasis on white and cream, before the colour palette allowed for a couple of pleated yellow skirts to take the runway followed by a swirling 60’s style print, which really achieved freshness for spring. Metallic was also a welcomed edition with tin foil like skirts, boleros, and a mens rain jacket and Pat Cleveland marked the shift in the collection with a white shift dress and silver bolero, in which she closed the show in. Stand out pieces from the collection were the subdued sky blue, white and light grey bird print pieces, a pea green tapestry printed on a flowing shift dress, and the laser cut leather pieces in mixed metallics.
Take a look at some of our photos below from the show, and stay tuned for a more professional set in the coming days.
