This year Brooks of England celebrates their 150th anniversary and tokyobike has produced a very limited edition Mini Velo fram as part of their Dashing Bikes program. The bike is handmade in Japan by master bike builder Osamu Fukuda and limited to individually numbered units.
The ultimate in luxurious craftsmanship, the Mini Velo features numerous fine elements that separate it from any other premium bike on the market and showing their true commitment to craftsmanship. Made from Cr- mo steel with lugless welding, Japanese copper detailing throughout, with a coat of luxe RAL 3012 beige red paint, the bike also features Brooks 150th anniversary decal, Swift saddle, and slender leather hand grips for a totally premium finish.
Osamu Fukuda is most notably known for his work on high end frames working and running RAIZIN works in Kiryu, Japan. He had the following to say about his philosophy behind building these incredible frames with the upmost care and attention:
“If there are two choices, better to pick the hard way. The easier way somehow comes back to you in the end.”
Take a closer look at Fukuda’s finished product below which sells for $3000 USD at the tokyobike flagship locations in Japan & New York as well as Brooks 1886 stores worldwide.
