At Tod’s, Fall Winter 2026/27 unfolded as a quiet but assured celebration of Italian craft. Staged as a live, collective performance, the show placed gesture and creation at the centre, with artisans working alongside the runway to underline the house’s belief in what it calls Artisanal Intelligence. The message was clear: Tod’s identity is built not on spectacle, but on skill, time, and touch.

Creative Director Matteo Tamburini translated this philosophy into a wardrobe rooted in material excellence and restraint. Leather drove the narrative, where saddlery techniques and hand-finishing met lightness and modern ease. Generous, enveloping volumes were balanced with more precise shapes, defined waists, and shortened sleeves, creating a sense of relaxed structure. Classic outerwear, including the trench and peacoat, were seen through a refined through couture-inspired lens, while a quilted bomber in aged calfskin added depth and texture to the mix.

Color stayed grounded in rich, natural tones such as burnt caramel, ginger, and chocolate, punctuated by sharp black and white accents. Graphic patchwork foulard dresses introduced subtle rhythm without breaking the collection’s composure. Pashmy leather emerged as a standout, its silky softness and chromatic depth reinforcing Tod’s reputation for material mastery across coats, skirts, and trousers.

Accessories extended the story with clarity rather than excess. The iconic loafer returned with a rounded toe in supple leather or pony, alongside ankle boots detailed with saddlery-inspired straps and the Gommino sneaker reworked in ultra-flexible suede. Bags followed suit: the Wave Bag with topstitching, the T Timeless refreshed in new leathers, and the Di Bag reimagined in a bowling style, all emphasizing function paired with formal refinement. Subtle personalization came through metal lettering on slim belts, a modern nod to traditional monogramming.

More than a seasonal statement, this season at Tod’s felt like a reaffirmation. In a moment when fashion often leans toward noise, the house chose confidence in continuity, reminding us that Italian excellence is most powerful when it speaks through craft.
