Tinashe dropped her 15 track R&B mixtape Nightride just a little over a week ago–and now she’s hopped on a track with pop legend Britney Spears. “Slumber Party” is the latest single taken from Spears’ latest album Glory Days, which all the hoopla surrounding Spears’ return to music with new material has come to a complete halt. The radio-ready collab comes hardly as a surprise: with Tinashe being ever the hustler and creative chameleon, throwing down jams left and right across all genres in the pop spectrum, she adds a definitive vocal depth to “Slumber Party.” Tinashe breathes new life into the track, taking helm at the start of the second verse, then twists in some well-placed ad-libs and harmonizing throughout the rest of the jam.
