Tiffany & Co. has introduced the new Sixteen Stone Solitaire Diamond Ring, a modern take on one of the House’s most recognizable designs.
Originally created by legendary designer Jean Schlumberger in 1959, the Sixteen Stone collection is known for its signature X motif. Inspired by cross-stitching and textile craftsmanship, the design has become a longstanding symbol of love within Tiffany’s jewellery portfolio.
The breathtaking new solitaire brings that motif into a classic engagement ring setting with a round centre diamond sitting within X-shaped prongs, and hand-applied 18k yellow gold details appear along a platinum band, referencing the original Sixteen Stone design.
Available with centre diamonds ranging from two to 2.99 carats, the ring reflects Tiffany’s continued focus on craftsmanship while introducing a fresh interpretation of a heritage design.
Alongside the solitaire, Tiffany is also expanding the Sixteen Stone collection with new styles, including all-metal rings for the first time.
More than 65 years after its debut, the Sixteen Stone collection continues to evolve, bridging Tiffany’s design history with a contemporary approach to fine jewellery.
