Tiffany & Co. continues its tradition reinterpreting their most iconic motifs with the unveiling of the 2026 Bird on a Pearl high jewelry capsule collection, a refined evolution of Jean Schlumberger’s legendary Bird on a Rock design, first introduced in 1965.

Guided by Chief Artistic Officer Nathalie Verdeille, the collection places exceptional natural saltwater pearls at its center, sourced exclusively from the private collection of Hussein Al Fardan. Each pearl is selected for its rarity, organic shape, and luminous character, serving as the foundation for designs that balance precision with expressive artistry.

For 2026, the Bird motif is subtly reimagined with star sapphire heads, chosen for their celestial asterism and soft tonal depth. In select pieces, rare fancy color diamonds are integrated into the bird’s form, enhancing the sense of movement and dimension. Highlights include a diamond pavé bird brooch perched on a white baroque pearl of over 18 carats, a pendant centered on a brownish-gray baroque pearl exceeding 29 carats, and a reinterpreted archival brooch featuring a light orangey-brown and white baroque pearl of more than 36 carats—its irregular shape requiring a highly engineered setting.

Now in its fourth consecutive year of collaboration with Al Fardan, Tiffany remains the only house granted access to these extraordinary pearls. The 2026 Bird on a Pearl capsule, set to debut at an intimate event in Gstaad, Switzerland, reflects the House’s ongoing commitment to honoring heritage while allowing its icons to evolve with restraint and imagination.
