Alongside the unveiling of its one-of-a-kind Legendary Bird: The Sapphire Edition during Paris Haute Couture Week, Tiffany & Co. also introduced an expanded Bird on a Rock collection that brings one of the House’s most celebrated motifs into a new era.
Inspired by Jean Schlumberger’s original 1965 design and reimagined under the direction of Nathalie Verdeille, the latest fine and high jewellery creations explore the iconic bird through both figurative and abstract expressions. New sculptural pendants and earrings sit alongside the debut of Wings, a fine jewellery collection inspired by the symbolic power of flight, and Feathers, an intricate high jewellery suite that transforms the bird’s plumage into sculptural diamond compositions.
The new collections continue Tiffany’s longstanding dialogue between archival design and contemporary craftsmanship. Individually hand sculpted in 18-karat gold and platinum, each piece incorporates engraved detailing, carefully set diamonds and refined proportions that honour Schlumberger’s original vision while feeling unmistakably modern.
For more than six decades, Bird on a Rock has represented optimism, imagination and possibility. With these latest additions, Tiffany & Co. demonstrates how one of its most recognisable motifs continues to evolve without losing the spirit that has made it an enduring symbol of the House.
The new Bird on a Rock Fine and High Jewellery collections will arrive at select Tiffany & Co. boutiques beginning September 1st.
