The Strokes have shared a new video for their Future Present Past EP track “Threat of Joy.” Premiering over on Noisy, the clip starts out on set for their “OBLIVIUS” video which then gets stolen by a special agent and the following message appears.

“Due to circumstances we are not at liberty to discuss, we are unable to present the music video for ‘OBLIVIUS.’

Instead, please enjoy a special presentation of the Strokes in…‘Threat of Joy.’”

Apparently the “OBLIVIUS” video got too political to release so they moved on to release the above video for “Threat of Joy” directed by Warren Fu.

Watch it above now.
