A few months ago H&M teased their upcoming collaboration with luxury fashion designer Erdem, and now we’ve finally got a look at the pieces in the extensive collection.
The collaboration includes not only apparel and accessories for women, but also a menswear collection, a first for the designer. The aesthetic is dark and moody with deep colours, lush florals and lots of lace. The pieces embody Erdem’s signature feminine-with-a-twist style, ranging from voluminous gowns to structured pantsuits. The menswear items are equally bold, featuring chunky, patterned sweaters and tailored jackets.
Speaking to British Vogue, Erdem said about the collection:
“It’s a collection of pieces that have a permanence about them, which is almost the antithesis of this idea of what fast fashion is.”
