Canadian two-piece rock band The Darcys have released the video for the track “Arizona Hwy,” and its more of a fun, road-trip recap than music video.
The video features Jason Couse and Wes Marskell tearing through the desert in a blue Chevy El Camino. The twosome encounter everything you’d expect on an “Arizona Hwy,” including seedy motels, a creepy/weird funhouse and amusement park, dogs wearing sunglasses and more.
“Arizona Hwy” is from The Darcys’ latest release, Centerfold, which is a bit of a different sound for the duo compared to the darker, indie-rock sound they built their name on. Their new material errs more on the side of summery, 80’s inspired pop-rock, and we’re not mad in the slightest.
Enjoy the video above, and stay tuned for more from The Darcys as they gear up for a busy summer that includes a North American tour and an appearance at Wayhome Festival.
