Vancouver power-pop trio The Courtneys are set to release their sophomore record The Courtneys II in the coming weeks. Not long ago they shared a taste with their catchy track “Tour”. Now they’ve served us another bite of their upcoming album with “Minnesota” – a low-fi winding garage-pop tune that reflects on heartbreak and not knowing how to talk to those you love, with a chorus that chimes “if you go away/I hope that you will know/that I’ll miss, that I’ll miss you so…” closing with “I’ll see you in the winter snow.”
