Victoria’s Secret has just confirmed that this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will take place in Shanghai, China.

Back in March there were rumours swirling that the show would be set in China following a few Instagram posts that hinted at the new location. With Victoria’s Secret in midst of promoting their first stores in China, holding the show in Shanghai makes total sense. The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show has been held in a variety of locations throughout the years across North America and Europe, however this marks the first time the show will take place in Asia. While casting for the show is still in progress, 14 Victoria’s Secret Angels have already been confirmed, including Adriana Lima, Lily Aldridge and Jasmine Tookes plus supermodel sisters Bella and Gigi Hadid. The move to Asia is exciting on multiple fronts and hopefully signals more inclusivity and diversity from the lingerie brand.

We’re still awaiting the announcement of which musical acts will be performing at the show, and with it taking place in Asia for the first time we’re hoping to see a few Asian acts in the mix. Stay tuned!

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will air on November 28 on CBS.
