6. Marc Jacobs

Corduroy and bubble caps aren’t usually synonymous with cool, but if anyone can make it happen, it’s Marc Jacobs. The designer’s fall 2017 collection, which was inspired by the documentary Hip-Hop Evolution, was meant to be a “representation of the well-studied dressing up of casual sportswear,” according to Jacobs’ show notes. And indeed, these pieces were more wearable than Marc’s typical collections, though they still evoke a sense of individuality and something different from the norm.

7. Zadig & Voltaire

Perhaps it’s our soft spot for camo (or our penchant to wear *stylish* sweats as much as possible), but for some reason we’re drawn to this look, especially paired with those red heels.

8. Beaufille

Chloé and Parris Gordon, the Canadian sister duo behind Beaufille, are known for their effortlessly cool looks featuring bold, yet wearable silhouettes. This season, they took a softer approach, but still maintained that sense of feminine masculinity. Sure, this dress and pant combo can be worn as separates, but together they truly evoke the essence that is Beaufille, a handsome woman.

9. Rodarte

This look screams of badassery — oversized studded leather jacket, studded trousers and croc skin combat boots. We’d like it all, ASAP.

10. Public School

A different take on the camo print, this silk set lended itself more to the athleisure vibe than military. The white slipper boots made for an unexpected footwear choice, while the “Make America New York” hat was one of the many overt political statements seen on Public School’s runway.
