We’ve been looping Tei Shi’s addictive break out hit “Bassically,” basically everyday since it dropped and now that it’s #1 on Hype Machine, we’re ready to move on to her fresh new single “See Me” which just dropped via Dazed.
Valerie Teicher aka Tei Shi, worked on the track with Glass Animals’ Dave Bayley and long time collaborator Luca Buccellati. According to the press release the lyrics touch “on the conflicting feelings of vulnerability and the search for approval,” which is something every artist struggles with at one time or another, especially when such a brilliant result is produced in this case.
