Earlier this year, Syd (of Odd Future and the Internet) released her debut solo album Fin & back in March she shared an outtake titled “Treading Water.” Now Syd has dropped a new double-track titled, “Bad Dream/No Looking Back.” Released yesterday as the moon covered the sun, Syd advised & tweeted that one should “play this while you watch the eclipse.”
The “Bad Dream” was produced by Gwen Bunn & the “No Looking Back” backend half was produced by Ricci Riera. The rest was all Syd, written, recorded, mixed and mastered by Syd at home. The double-track’s artwork alludes that it’s off Always Never Home which Syd tweeted drops September 8th.
