Montreal psych-fuzz indie rock dudes Suuns are back with a new tune. Following up 2011’s Zeroes QC & 2013’s Images du Futur, they’ve just announced their third studio album Hold/Still, set for release this spring. Recorded last year in Texas over three intense weeks, the boys explained the process…

And seep in it did. With the announce of their new record comes the video for their single “Translate” which is a winding track that’s sure to have you spinning. Shot by frequent Suuns collaborator Charles-André Coderre, it features trippy shots of the band shot in thermal vision. Coderre digs in saying…
“’Translate’, the first music video of a triptych series, is an incandescent vision. It was shot with thermal imagery. The concept was simple: film the band in their rehearsal space and transfigure the footage into something unusual and gorgeous. We experimented the different meanings of the word “translate” and explored a new film language by shooting what the human eye can’t see”.
