Last weekend was a big one for music fans in Eastern Canada and the United States. With Caribana, VELD Music Festival, and OVO Fest taking place in Toronto, Lollapalooza in Chicago and Osheaga in Montreal, it was impossible to NOT have a good time. Since the team here at Sidewalk Hustle is as passionate about music as we are our streetstyle steez, we headed out to ALL the festival fun rocking fly gear, cool kicks and ready to conquer. The thing about music festivals, whether you are covering them or partying at them is that you’re outside for long periods of time in unpredictable weather. So obviously you need to make sure your fly outfit can weather (pun intended) the ever-changing conditions and you need a pair of shoes that you can stand, walk and dance in comfortably. For us this comes courtesy of the good folks at Puma.
For the dudes we selected pieces from the hyper cool Pink Dolphin x Puma collection in the form of white tee’s and a short sleeve hooded vest (perfect for when day fades to-night). On foot we rocked the super flashy and luxe Puma x Naturel Clyde’s and the brand new IGNITE Limitless NETFIT. Both of which caught the eye of all who looked down, and remained comfy af. One of the key pieces for the look though came in the form of the slim fit suede woven pants with the synched bottom for that cool guy ankle look and a little Clyde sneaker patch embroidered on the left thigh. We know what you’re thinking, suede pants? But don’t sweat it (?) they aren’t actually suede but a nice soft cotton. Peep the pics above.
From the women’s collection we immediately gravitated towards the classic T7 onesie/jumpsuit, because the onesie is a music festival staple and an absolute necessity for every woman’s wardrobe. The jumpsuit worked perfectly with an all white pair of core basket platform sneakers. Yes we know, white sneakers are a bold choice at a music festival, but trust us it was legit a perfect match. Keeping it clean and classic we also opted for the True Archive T7 Pant and Jacket combo which we paired with the matching red suede Clyde’s.
Even though we are talking about last weekend, the summer is nowhere near being over (#Bless Climate Change) so these super cool look can also be yours. Head to your local Puma Lab inside of Footlocker, or be bold af and shop online now!
