Ought are set to release the follow up to their fantastic 2014 debut More Than Any Other Day next week, but you can stream their new album Sun Coming Down right now via SoundCloud below *right now* – and you should. The Montréal based band born out on the Mile End have made a frantic, raw, gem of a record. Singer/guitarist Tim Darcy is lyrically on point, doing that sometimes talking sometimes singing in simple truths thing that sometimes reminds us of David Byrne. “I am no longer afraid to dance tonight, because that is all that I have left” he casually remarks on “Beautiful Big Sky”, which perfectly captures the mundane day to day and turns it on its head.
