As the first course of business for the new year, international superstar DJ/Producer Steve Angello kicked off the brand new season of BBC Radio 1’s Residency show with a monster of a set. 
Even as a non-die-hard dance music enthusiasts, this set had us grooving along for a solid two hours. Featuring a nice remix of CHVRCHES “Tether” remix by Junior Sanchez, new music from Duke Dumont, a pretty solid Icona Pop rework, plus a ton of instant classics from Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman, Pryda, and of course Steve Angello himself. The mix is exactly two hours long and worth listening to every second of it.
We all know BBC Radio 1 is the Mecca of dance music mixes and as Steve Angello says, “Since I was a kid BBC Radio 1 has been the most important asset of dance music, with their legendary shows and artist features they have built modern music to what it is today! I am pleased to announce that I’ll be joining the family and I’m looking forward to an amazing show with some of the greatest music of today, tomorrow and the future!”
