Stars have shown Toronto a lot of love lately, coming off two back-to-back packed dates at Danforth Music Hall this past March. For Field Trip, Stars rolled out a set comprised of mostly newer material, showcasing amazing tightness and energy that has become a bit of a trademark for the group.
It’s great to see Stars focus so much on their newer material – despite only playing a handful of songs from their earlier albums, fans around me were singing back every single word. Not only do Stars have a strong back catalog of nostalgic hits, but they are progressing forward, and bringing their fans with them.
