What a delight, St. Vincent has released a new 10″ for Record Store Day Black Friday surprising everyone with a brand new track called “Sparrow” as well as another newish tune called “Pieta” which we’ve heard her play live before.
Recorded with John Congleton, both tracks are certainly much slower than those on her highly acclaimed self titled album from earlier this year, but we’re not complaining, we’ll take all the Annie Clark we can get! Listen below.
