Italian heritage retail concept Slowear, which includes the Incotex, Zanone, Montedoro and Glanshirt brands, is set to release its first collaboration with performance sailing brand North Sails for spring/summer 2024. The collaboration features technical performance pieces made with a refined and tailored touch for a new stylish approach to outerwear. The “Urban Breeze” collection aims to create high-performance outerwear that does not sacrifice style and refinement. It is made for urban sailors and people who have never seen a boat but love techwear.
This is the first collaboration between both of these iconic and “timeless” menswear brands, and it features two pieces: the Newport Sailor jacket and the Amalfi peacoat.
The Newport Sailor windbreaker is a practical 3-layer, 100% recycled, ultra-lightweight, windproof and waterproof jacket with special heat-sealed stitching. This special technique is used for the inner lining and the outer pockets making the jacket a 100% protective shell.
The Amalfi peacoat is made of cotton and nylon gabardine, embellished with a water-repellent finish to bring maximum comfort and protection and is tailored for maximum style and functionality.
The capsule will be available online at Slowear and in selected North Sails Apparel stores starting Thursday, March 14th, 2024.
