Simone Bellotti’s first official campaign for Jil Sander introduces his Spring/Summer 2026 debut with a sense of intimacy rather than declaration. Shot by Stef Mitchell, the imagery stays close to the body, using posture and gesture as its primary language. The result feels considered and restrained, allowing the clothes and the way they’re worn to speak quietly.
Bellotti has described his approach as rooted in a curiosity about the body, an idea reflected in garments that balance concealment and emphasis. Slashed maxi skirts suggest movement, a translucent aqua dress reveals with subtlety, and structured leather shirting grounds the collection. Throughout, shades of electric blue, indigo, and cyan cut through Jil Sander’s minimal palette, adding moments of intensity against a simple backdrop.
The campaign arrives during a period of transition for the house. Following the departure of Luke and Lucie Meier in early 2025, Bellotti’s debut collection signaled a shift in tone less moody, more immediate. With his second runway presentation set for February 25th, 2026, at Milan Fashion Week, this campaign serves as a quiet but confident introduction to a new chapter.
