Artists are putting in one hell of an effort into their lyric videos these days – and Sia’s dropped perhaps the best one to date for her latest single off her album This Is Acting, “Move Your Body.”
The clip can hardly pose as a lyric video, grasped with a narrative outlining the origins of Sia. A young Sia is dragged to the mall circa mid-1980s with her parents to pose for glamour shots. When she refuses to sit still, she runs off to the wardrobe area where she discovers the signature half black/half white wig, and then begins to twirl her way through other portrait-goers scenes. You’ll be more entranced by the sequined blazers than the bubblegum pink lyrics on the bottom of the screen.
