Shura has shared her new music video for “311215.” Taken from her kickass debut LP Nothing’s Real, it’s a 180 from her highly buzzed about John Hughes-film-esque single “What’s It Gonna Be?.” The video concept for “311215” shows home video recordings of baby Shura and her family projected on a staticky old-fashioned TV screen, tuning knobs and all, while she sings about the hypothetical death of her parents. With this knowledge it take the melancholic edge slightly deeper, and the footage goes beyond feeling nostalgic.
