Shakuhachi for Urban Outfitters

via the cut

Uber talented Aussie hot rod Jessie White of Shakuhachi (which means bamboo flute) is about to launch a collaboration with street wear fav department store Urban Outfitters.

Only available at very select locations (Union Square, Soho, Blue & Cream, and Pixie Market) the higher-end capsule collection will feature cropped jackets, plenty of tunics, cut-out dresses and one rather hideous pair of clogs.

Although White lives in Bali, her designs still have a decidedly urban feel (both literally and figuratively) with a carefree edge that exudes the inner heart of her pieces. Inspired by classic cult films and original artwork, her line began with a small collection of handmade neon printed tee’s which sold out immediately upon their release.

Check out the full collection below and be sure to hunt it down in store and online this fall.
