Rising Toronto-based act & founder of the the IXXI initiative Sean Leon has been making waves in the 6ix scene for a minute now, collaborating with artists such as Daniel Caesar, BADBADNOTGOOD, River Tiber, and WondaGurl. Back in 2013 Leon dropped his debut mixtape Ninelevenne, the Tragedy, which he followed up with Narcissus, the Drowning of Ego in 2014. Now, Leon is set to release a short film, titled Life When You’re The Movie.

Born from Sean Leon’s creative mind in collaboration with director by Noel, Life When You’re The Movie is an “audio-visual trip” that is scored by Leon & will preview music from his forthcoming album Black Sheep Nirvana. The film will screen this Monday January 23rd at The Royal Cinema, 7pm. Sean Leon will also be doing a Q&A with mediated by Tika Simone after the film.
