Part of one of the many reasons we loved the first season of HBO’s Girls is the amazing soundtrack it had and as we wait in great anticipation for the second season to air on January 13th. Now we have a compilation of the music from season one as well as a few new tunes from the upcoming season to look forward to dropping a week before the new season starts!
Featured on the soundtrack is a brand new song, written and performed by the LES artist herself Santigold. It will also feature tracks, selected by director Lena Dunham and Music Director Manish Raval of Fueled by Ramen, by Icona Pop, Sleigh Bells, Fleet Foxes and of course the Robyn track from the scene where Hannah (Lena Dunham) dances on her own.
