NBA All-Star Russell Westbrook is the latest to grace the cover of GQ Magazine. The Oklahoma City Thunder point guard sat down with GQ to chat about his experience being drafted fresh out of UCLA in 2008 to the iconic Seattle Supersonics, only to then find out the team had been sold and moved to Oklahoma City. Westbrook didn’t let the pressure of joining an established franchise in a new city weigh him down, but rather saw it as opportunity for a fresh start, and has since grown with his team all the way up to NBA finals–and impressive feat for a young team. There’s talk of the future of OKC Thunder now that Kevin Durant has been traded to Golden State Warriors, leaving Westbrook yet another opportunity to step up to the plate to become the new focal point of the OKC Thunder franchise.

Oh, and they’ve wrangled Westbrook in a denim on denim Canadian tuxedo and try to pass it off as an “Oklahoman Tuxedo.” Hmmm…
